An Erasmus KA1 training for teachers in Ohrid, from 9-14 July 2023. The training was attended by colleagues from Zagreb, Croatia, and together we explored new ways of learning and teaching. This training is an example of how Erasmus+ programs support cooperation between European countries in education.

Participants in the training were 6 educators from the Republic of Croatia, members of the NGO “Neki novi klinci” – Zagreb: Lucija Čurka (official representative of the NGO, Arijana Plahutar (pedagogue), Monika Gudlin (psychologist), Ana Miličić (educator), Suzana Mamic (educator) and Josipa Blažević (educator). The training was conducted by Marin Connoll, Darko Taleski, Zorica Trajanoska, Elena Apostoloska and Marina Tanasoska.

- Traditional Games – We adapted old games for children aged 4 to 6 and made them part of the curriculum.
- Connecting Objects – We saw how different objects can be connected for better learning.
- Logical Thinking – We worked on ways to help children think and solve problems.
- Storytelling – We mastered storytelling techniques that engage children.
- Digital Games – We digitized Macedonian and Croatian traditional games for use in teaching.
- Practical work. We didn’t just stay on theory – we visited the “Jasna Risteska” kindergarten in Ohrid where we applied the new games and activities with real children.
