Training for Game based learning

Game based learning covers different aspects of education, applicable in the classroom. It increases students’ involvement in the classroom activities and expands their personal experience for certain educational topic. Pupils get the opportunity to improve their presentation skills techniques, critical thinking and collaborative expressing.

The participating teachers or trainee teachers, get deeper insight into the concepts, strategies, didactic aims and the objectives. They acquire practical knowledge and get familiar with numerous examples of good teaching practice, share their views and ideas with the other course participants and explore different kind of games used in class.

Participants get familiarized with interesting and highly effective methods: storytelling in all the subjects of the curriculum, use of stop motion animation in education, use of different web 2.0 tools, traditional “grandma” games and their reinvention and digitalization, interactive and guided reading, as well as writing and illustration with very young students.

The training sessions are held by experienced teachers-mentors who guide the participants in the process of creation new, authentic resources, all members of Friends of education
